About The AAC
The Margosian Academic Achievement Center is the support hub of Lawrence Technological University. There are a variety of services the AAC provides FREE to students, staff, and faculty. To learn about their supportive services, please visit their website.
The Office of Disability Services frequently uses the resources and services of the Academic Achievement Center to accommodate many of its students with disabilities. For under Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act and the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), accommodations are required for documented students attending our university. Students with documented disabilities who are verified as requiring extended time and are allowed a reduced distraction setting for exams/quizzes, will normally take their exams in the AAC. Other accommodations such as scribes, word processors, and large print exams can also be provided to the appropriate documented student while taking their tests, whether it be in the AAC or somewhere else.
Remember :
- Students who need such academic accommodations must be registered with the Office of Disability Services.
- If you are a Professor or Faculty member, please visit the "Faculty Responsibilities" Tab for more specific instructions and procedures about AAC accommodations.
